This survey is designed to gather data on U.S. solar labor supply and demand. Your responses will be aggregated for two complementary labor market analyses. The survey specific to solar installation employers has been commissioned for a labor market analysis being conducted by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL); surveys specific to other solar employers have been commissioned by The Solar Foundation with the support of the Solar Energy Industries Association and the Solar Electric Power Association and technical assistance from Cornell University. The surveys are being conducted by BW Research, an independent research organization, in partnership with Green LMI Consulting. The survey you receive will be based on your responses to our initial questions. By answering this survey, you can help us better understand the size, breadth and characteristics of the solar industry; develop accurate reports on the geography of the solar economy across the U.S.; and prepare the present and future solar labor pool based on your needs. The survey should take approximately ten minutes of your time. Your individual responses will not be published, only aggregate information will be used in the reporting of the survey results. At the end of the survey, you will have the option to enter into a drawing to win an iPad, iPod Touch, or cash equivalent.
