Julian Ugalde
Research ManagerJulian Ugalde is a Research Manager at BW Research Partnership’s Brazil office, supporting the firm’s US and South American research. His work largely focuses on modeling economic benefits and analyzing the policy environment to develop findings and understand workforce implications. Through the firm’s research practices, Julian explores questions around decarbonization strategies, just workforce transition, and economic development for regions to build a future with better climate and economic conditions for everyone.
Julian received his bachelor’s degree from UC San Diego with a double major in Economics and International Studies in 2020. Julian currently lives in São Paulo, Brazil and outside of work spends his time playing music, training at the gym or the soccer field, and walking his dogs to the park.
