Cai Steger
Director of Policy ResearchCai Steger is the Director of Policy Research at BW Research. He has fifteen years of climate, clean energy, and workforce development experience, in project leadership, strategy, research, and policy advocacy roles. His experience centers on how energy intersects with economic development, labor markets, housing, innovation, and equity. He has served on expert advisory groups for the Department of Energy and as a clean energy advisor to the National Academy of Sciences.
Cai leads client assignments for state and local governments, foundations, non-profit organizations, and the private sector. He also supports BW Research’s business development activities.
Cai has an undergraduate degree from University of California at Santa Barbara and an MBA from Columbia University. Cai lives in the great state of New Jersey and enjoys hiking, biking and napping with his family.
